A fitness test battery is a collection of fitness tests. Not just one or two, but a set of five to seven fitness tests that an athlete completes - usually in line with a training program and each athlete's sport - to assess the progress of the components of fitness that the training program is trying to develop. It's important to make sure the tests are relevant and are applicable to the athlete, their sport and to the role that they perform in that sport.
